WYSI Calendar Ver 2.0. Wysi Calendar (as in What You See Is a Calendar) version 2.0 for Windows 3.1 from CanalRun is an easy-to-use calendar, scheduler, anniversary reminder, and contact manager. The calendar is a perpetual calendar which displays dates for any year that interests you. It alerts you to days with scheduled events or anniversaries. It also displays your own bitmap "Picture of the Month" - just like the real thing. The scheduler is free-form. Schedule events can be entered for any time and can contain notes, directions, or any other text. The Schedule events are saved until you delete them. At the end of the year you can print a listing of "What I Did This Past Year". The anniversary reminder helps you remember yearly events. It is also free-form. Along with the scheduler events, the dates with anniversaries are highlighted in the calendar. The contact manager is much more than just an address book. Because the contact manager is also free-form, you can store name, address, phone, fax and pager numbers, e-mail addresses, directions, favorite restaurants, spouse and children's names, notes from a prior meeting..., anything you want up to 1500 characters (a small book) per contact. Plus you can search all contacts for any of this data. You can personalize all fonts and font colors. The calendar can be resized and, when minimized, the icon displays the current time and date. Put Wysi Calendar in your Start-Up group and it will remind you of the day's events. If nothing is scheduled, Wysi Calendar will stay out of your way.
